Tax free saving with Life Cover included*

The PCU Cash ISA ( Individual Savings Account ) offers members the opportunity to save up to £3,600 per tax year without any liability to tax.

Once a member is saving into a Rewarder regular savings account, an ISA can then be opened with PCU. The PCU Cash ISA offers:

  • tax free saving, ideal for the taxpayer
  • savings up to £3,600 per tax year
  • a projected return of 5.5% p.a.**
  • life cover at no extra cost to double savings (of up to a total saving of £25,000 per member) in event of a claim*
  • easy saving through payroll deduction option, where available
  • 'interest' calculated daily and credited to account annually in April
  • access to savings without penalty subject to 60 days’ written notice or immediately subject to a penalty equal to 60 days’ 'interest' on the amount withdrawn
  • available to serving and retired police officers and police staff, including family members over 16 living with the main member

As ISAs are regulated by HMRC, it is essential that the terms and conditions applicable to this account are read before application.

The facility is unfortunately not available to those under 16 or to non-UK residents.
