Simple to join... Effortless to save... Easy to withdraw

Saving plays a major part in the concept of credit unions and we, at Police Credit Union, aim to make saving smooth and rewarding.

Just open a Rewarder regular savings account with a minimum deposit of £10 and you’re in as a member of Police Credit Union, then save at least £10 per month.

There is also the Youngster regular savings account available for young police family members up to the age of 18, living with the main member.

In addition, there is a Cash ISA which offers competitive tax free savings.

  • Easy access with no notice or penalty.
  • Simple saving through payroll deduction or direct debit.
  • Life cover at no extra cost up to age 65 (conditions apply)
  • Minimum balance only £10
  • Maximum shareholding with PCU that attracts dividend/ISA return - £85,000
  • Dividend paid annually gross
  • Entitlement to apply for loans.

The Police Credit Union is a member of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. The Scheme guarantees to pay 100% of a maximum £85,000 (£75,000 from 1st January 2016) should the Credit Union fail.
