Improvements to telephone system for members
A new approach to telephone options has been introduced , to coincide with the shift to standard opening hours in PCU branches.
When members call their local PCU branch office and the line is engaged, a range of three options will be offered.
1) To be transferred directly to another branch for the call to be handled. This will avoid either waiting or leaving a message.
2) Leave a message at the local branch and someone from that branch will then contact the member or take the required action
3) Hold and wait to speak to someone at the local branch.
It is hoped that this improvement will benefit our members and is as a result of member feedback.
